The COMOD® System – practical and safe to use

The innovative COMOD® system from URSAPHARM keeps the liquid sterile and airtight, making it possible to dispense with the addition of preservatives altogether. The drop-for-drop precision dosing works as follows: The liquid is sealed inside in an airtight bag. When the special pump system is activated, the flexible inner bag contracts. Since the pressure is equalised by the inflow of air into the space between the inner bag and the container wall, the liquid remains protected from contamination via air. All eye drops of the HYLO® family are available in the bottles of the COMOD® system and are therefore free of preservatives, remain sterile over the application period of 6 months and can be dosed precisely.

Using the COMOD® system is very simple: Remove the protective cap and turn the bottle with its tip facing down. Hold your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and your other fingers on the bottom of the bottle. Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid with your other hand. Apply strong and quick pressure to the bottom of the bottle and instil the drop into the conjunctival sac. Due to the special dispensing system, exactly one drop is released per pump application. The 10 ml content is therefore sufficient for at least 300 drops. Slowly close your eyes to allow the fluid to spread evenly on the eye surface.
