Products Benefits of HYLO PARIN® eye drops

HYLO PARIN® eye drops support the efficient lubrication and regeneration of chronically irritated eyes. With the ingredients sodium hyaluronate and heparin, HYLO PARIN® eye drops create ideal conditions for long-lasting lubrication of the eye thanks to a stable tear film. Sodium hyaluronate, a salt form of hyaluronic acid, has the property of binding moisture particularly well. Heparin enhances this effect and supports the adhesion of the drops to the cornea so that the irritated surface of the eye can regenerate. This allows the eyelids to slide gently over the eye without causing discomfort such as burning, itching or a foreign-body sensation. Thanks to the practical COMOD® system, HYLO PARIN® eye drops are easy to dose, are extremely economical and are free of preservatives and phosphates.

FAQ The most frequently asked questions about HYLO PARIN®

When should I use HYLO PARIN®?

Burning, itching, watery eyes, the feeling of sand in your eyes, or dry eyes are symptoms of an irritated eye and a sign that your eye is not sufficiently hydrated. Certain conditions, such as exposure to air-conditioned or dusty rooms or intensive computer work, put additional strain on your eyes and reduce the physiological functioning of the tears. Tear production also decreases with age. HYLO PARIN® contains hyaluronic acid and heparin, which nourish the cornea and conjunctiva and, together with the natural tears, moisten the surface of the eye. It provides the eye with a long-lasting and stable tear film, thus protecting it from environmental stimuli.

How do I apply HYLO PARIN®?

HYLO PARIN® should be dosed individually according to your condition and the recommendation of your ophthalmologist/pharmacist. Generally, you instil one drop into each eye, 3-6 times a day. The drops are filled in our practical COMOD® system. To make sure that everything goes smoothly, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Remove the cap before use.

Step 2: Hold the bottle upside down with your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle and the other fingers on the bottom of the bottle.

Step 3: Support the hand holding the bottle with your free hand.

Step 4: Tilt your head back, gently pull the lower lid away from the eye with your free hand and trigger the drip mechanism with quick and strong pressure. Repeat the procedure for the other eye.

Step 5: After use, close the dropper tip again by replacing the cap.

Can I use HYLO PARIN® with contact lenses?

HYLO PARIN® can be used while wearing contact lenses. We recommend waiting about 30 minutes after inserting contact lenses before using the eye drops to avoid possible incompatibility reactions due to interactions between contact lens solutions and HYLO PARIN®.

How does hyaluronic acid help against dry eyes?

Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in the eye and is therefore particularly well tolerated. It has excellent water-binding properties and is therefore very suitable for lubricating the conjunctiva and cornea. In addition, hyaluronic acid also forms a protective film on the irritated surface of the eye. In our HYLO® eye drops, we use a highly viscous, long-chain hyaluronic acid to achieve long-lasting lubrication of the eyes.

What pack sizes are available?
