The TeamSV Elversberg
The soccer club SV Elversberg was founded in 1907 and is based in Elversberg, Saarland. The club’s professional team played in the 2. Bundesliga during the 2023–24 and 2024–25 seasons and was promoted to the 1. Bundesliga in the 2025–26 season after finishing in a commendable second place in the standings. The club plays its home matches at the URSAPHARM Arena an der Kaiserlinde — its own soccer stadium, which has been undergoing renovation and expansion since 2013.
